Dr Wai Tze Cheng
Dr Wai Tze Cheng founded Menopause Care NZ in 2024 to provide evidence-based menopause care that supports the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of this life stage. She is a certified menopause specialist with The Menopause Society and an experienced UK-trained GP who worked in the NHS for more than 16 years.
Dr Cheng worked as a menopause specialist at West Middlesex University Hospital in London for 4.5 years, supporting women with complex medical histories and difficult-to-treat menopausal symptoms.
She qualified from Imperial College London in 2007 with both a medical degree and an intercalated BSc in Neuroscience. Dr Cheng further advanced her menopause expertise by completing the FSRH Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care through two years of additional training, including work at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital London Menopause Clinic.
